Finance Director – PE-Backed SaaS Business – London (Hybrid)

I’m partnering with a leading private equity-backed technology and SaaS business with £400m in revenue to appoint a Finance Director. Operating in an exciting, fast-paced sector, the business has ambitious plans for its next phase of growth. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to take on a high-impact role, combining strategic business partnering with financial planning and analysis. Reporting directly to the VP of FP&A, you will work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, providing commercial insight and helping shape key strategic and operational decisions.

The opportunity:

• Partner with senior leadership across the business, providing financial insight to drive commercial performance and strategic decision-making.
• Lead key FP&A activities, including budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning and financial modelling.
• Analyse business performance, identifying trends, risks and opportunities to support profitable growth.
• Develop and enhance financial reporting, KPIs and performance analysis to support decision-making.
• Play a key role in driving financial discipline, operational efficiency and value creation within a large, PE-backed technology business.

The ideal candidate:

• ACA qualified, ideally with a Big 4 accountancy training background.
• Experience within a technology, SaaS or software business, ideally in a similar commercial finance or FP&A-focused role.
• Strong business partnering skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and translate complex financial data into actionable insight.
• A strong technical grounding in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and performance analysis.
• Commercially astute, personable and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
