Head of Commercial Finance – PE-Backed Retail Consumer Brand – Central London (Hybrid)

Cedar is partnering with a high-growth, private equity-backed consumer retail brand that are now £150m revenue to appoint a Head of Commercial Finance, reporting directly to the CFO. Having delivered an impressive growth trajectory to date, the business is entering an exciting next phase, with ambitious plans for continued expansion and value creation. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded finance leader to take ownership of the commercial finance function, influence strategic decision-making and play a pivotal role in the business’s future growth.

The opportunity:

• Lead and develop the commercial finance function, partnering closely with senior leadership across the business.
• Drive commercial performance, providing insight into revenue, margins, profitability and key business KPIs.
• Support strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting and long-term growth initiatives.
• Challenge performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
• Work directly with the CFO in a high-growth, PE-backed environment, contributing to value creation and the delivery of ambitious business plans.

The ideal candidate:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, with a strong commercial finance background.
• Experienced in partnering with senior stakeholders and translating financial data into actionable commercial insight.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, growth-oriented consumer, retail or multi-channel environment.
• A proactive, commercially astute leader who can influence decision-making and drive business performance.
