Group Financial Controller Permanent NEW

Cedar is partnering with a fast-growing, private equity-backed SaaS business to appoint a Group Financial Controller. This is an exciting opportunity to build a best-in-class finance function, and the successful candidate will take ownership of group reporting, strengthen financial controls and establish policies that can support the business as it scales.

The remit will include:

• Leading group consolidations, statutory reporting and the year-end audit across a complex, multi-entity business
• Providing technical accounting guidance on IFRS, including revenue recognition under IFRS 15 and acquisition accounting under IFRS 3
• Writing and embedding group accounting policies, with consistent application across the business
• Improving the close process, balance sheet controls and reporting quality
• Supporting post-deal integration, including bringing acquired businesses onto group policies, controls and reporting processes
• Strengthening compliance and building a finance team equipped for the next stage of growth

The incoming individual will be a technically strong qualified accountant who has operated in an international group environment and enjoys building and improving processes. Experience in a PE Backed SaaS businesses is a prerequisite for this role and our client will only consider candidates from this sector.
