This key FP&A Analyst role is being recruited to provide an improved financial lens across the global markets and future succession planning.

This is a pivotal role with significant visibility, with key input into the Group’s monthly forecasting and performance management rhythm, including the onward reporting and storytelling to senior internal and external stakeholders.

Reporting to the Head of Group FP&A, engaging with multiple senior stakeholders, including Group CFO, and key BU and Regional Finance leaders, the role will include:

• Key member of a small but high calibre Group FP&A team, supporting the delivery of the Group’s reporting, forecasting, planning and performance management activities, deputising for the Head of FP&A when required.
• Production, analysis and reporting of key financial and operational information, supporting the Group’s annual budgeting, monthly forecasting and long-term planning processes
• Investment case reviews, earnings preparation, management reporting, business performance analysis and executive-level presentations
• Provide business partnering support, helping to understand performance drivers, challenge assumptions and identify risks and opportunities
• play an significant role in supporting the continued development of the Group’s FP&A capabilities while driving continuous improvement in reporting, forecasting and planning processes
• Support corporate strategy initiatives such as M&A evaluations, integration modelling, and synergy tracking
• Engage in capital allocation decision support (capex, investments, portfolio analysis)
• Prepare and analyse Group P&L, cash flow and KPI forecasts, identifying key risks, opportunities and performance drivers
• Develop reporting packs, presentations and financial analysis for senior management, shareholders and other key stakeholders
• Drive continuous improvement in reporting, forecasting and planning processes to enhance efficiency, quality and insight, Championing continuous improvement in FP&A processes, planning tools, automation, and data quality
• Ensure all outputs are delivered accurately and on time with a strong focus on data integrity and a “right first time” approach
• Analysis and insight generation to convey key messages, insights, risks and opportunities for the CFO, CEO, and Board
• Continue the development of the existing high-performance culture, focused on collaboration, analytical rigor, and strategic thinking

Candidate profile:

• An ambitious and experienced FP&A finance professional with an impressive track record of delivery across a medium to large sized international business.
• Demonstrated ability to elevate the quality and depth of business insights and partner various business units.
• Known for transforming data into high-value, decision-ready insights.
• Skilled at questioning underlying business assumptions and articulating the strategic “so what” behind analytical findings.
• Significant levels of emotional intelligence and influencing skills. This is a people led environment where relationship building is critical to your success in role and the wider group.
• Commercially minded and genuinely interested in how a business operates.
• An additional European language would be an advantage.
