Intro

A leading, high‑growth international insurance group is seeking an Interim FP&A Analyst to support its expanding FP&A function. This newly created role will provide critical financial insight, modelling capability, and strategic analysis across multiple global business units.

This is role is presented on an inside IR35 day rate, between £450 – £600PD.

The London office is typically attended 2-3 days per week.

The Role

As Interim FP&A Analyst, you will:

• Support the International FP&A function, partnering closely with London and in‑country teams and senior management.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain financial models to support strategic decisions, budgeting, long‑term planning, and commercial analysis.
• Conduct scenario modelling and sensitivity analyses to evaluate financial and operational impacts of business decisions.
• Support the build‑out of budgets across international entities and assist with consolidation into enterprise planning.
• Deliver analysis and reporting across international departments, clearly explaining variances vs. budget and forecast.
• Work with international partners to support financial reviews and reporting processes.
• Assist with complex projects including annual planning, reforecast cycles, and strategic financial initiatives.
• Provide financial guidance to operational stakeholders, identifying risks, opportunities, and optimisation levers.

Your Profile

You will ideally have:

• A recognised accounting qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA).
• Experience in FP&A, finance business partnering, or financial modelling within a multinational environment.
• Exposure to international business units.
• Strong analytical and modelling capability, with the ability to communicate insight clearly to finance and non‑finance stakeholders.
• Experience in insurance or broader financial services is desirable.
