About us
Cedar was founded in 2003 by Howard Bentwood, and over twenty years later, it’s still privately owned, still self-financed, and still run by people who genuinely care about doing recruitment well.
We specialise in Finance, Tax, Change, Tech & Transformation and Procurement. We work with over 300+ active clients, from ambitious SMEs to listed blue-chips, and we’re trusted to find them the people that actually make a difference. That trust isn’t accidental. It’s built on honesty, relationships and a consistent track record of delivering.
But this is where Cedar stands out: the same principles we apply to our clients and candidates, we apply to the people who work here. We listen. We give honest guidance. We back people to deliver.
