Cedar is currently partnered with an PE-backed SaaS business to secure an Interim Finance Manager, based in Waterloo, London with 4 days per week based from the office. The role is a 3-6 month initial contract, paying a day rate between £450-500 per day (Umbrella).

The Company

The business has a strong track record of delivery, rapid client acquisition, and is midway through a programme of finance transformation and process improvement.

This role sits at the heart of the finance function, supporting the delivery of high-quality management reporting, commercial insight, and business partnering during a critical phase of scale-up.

The Role

As Interim Finance Manager, you will:

• Full ownership of monthly management accounts, including detailed P&L and balance sheet reporting
• Preparation of key SaaS metrics including ARR, MRR, churn, CAC, LTV, and customer cohort analysis
• Detailed variance analysis and commentary, providing clear insights to finance and non-finance stakeholders
• Support month-end close, ensuring timely, accurate financial results and reconciliations
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes, including revenue modelling for subscription-based income streams
• Deliver insightful financial analysis to support commercial decisions and strategic planning
• Business partnering with budget holders across Sales, Marketing, and Operations
• Input into process improvement initiatives, including automation and streamlining of reporting
• Development and enhancement of reporting dashboards – Power BI experience highly desirable

Your Profile

You will ideally have:

• A formal accountancy qualification (e.g. ACA/CIMA/CA).
• Proven experience in management accounting within SaaS, tech, or recurring revenue businesses
• Strong understanding of SaaS KPIs and commercial drivers, especially ARR, MRR, churn and revenue recognition (IFRS15)
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI or similar tools a distinct advantage
• Prior experience in an interim / contract role.
• Availability to begin immediately.
• The rate of £450 – £500 per day represents a fair value, or logical increase on your previous salary or day rate.
