Finance Business Partner Interim

Cedar is currently partnered with a PE-backed FMCG business to secure an Interim Finance Business Partner, based in Central London. This is a 6-month contract role, with the possibility to become permanent thereafter. The role is 100% office-based and is offering a base salary of £60,000.

The Role

As Interim Finance Business Partner, you will:

• Deliver quarterly and annual forecasts and budgets for regional sales.
• Provide strategic financial insights and reports to the Sales & Marketing division and senior leadership.
• Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing division to monitor and analyse financial performance and support the achievement of sales targets.
• Conduct promotional analysis and create financial models for informed decision-making.
• Work closely with sales, finance, and IT teams to streamline processes.
• Identify and manage financial risks and opportunities, implementing cost-saving strategies.

Your Profile

You will ideally have:

• A formal accountancy qualification (e.g. ACA/CIMA/CA).
• A minimum of one year of post-qualified experience within a Finance role.
• Strong Excel skills, with the desire to develop your financial modelling capability to support insightful analysis.
• Excellent interpersonal capability, with the ability to work collaboratively and influence other teams.
• Previous experience within FMCG / Retail.
• The salary of £60,000 represents a fair value, or logical increase on your previous salary or day rate.
