Managment Accountant Permanent NEW

Cedar is supporting a PE Backed global business looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, people-focused organisation that offers genuine career progression within a complex international environment.

The role will include:

• Producing monthly management accounts and reporting to strict deadlines
• Preparing journals, including intercompany and recurring charges
• Delivering monthly revenue reporting and technical ledger reconciliations
• Owning balance sheet reconciliations and resolving any identified issues
• Supporting VAT and tax reporting for UK and overseas entities
• Improving reporting solutions, processes and procedures
• Producing ad hoc management information and financial analysis
• Supporting wider business planning and reporting activities

The successful candidate will have:

• Previous experience working as a Management Accountant
• A professional accounting qualification, finalist status or strong qualification-by-experience
• Knowledge of UK accounting standards
• Advanced Excel skills, including lookups, pivot tables and data manipulation
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet demanding deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Financial services or insurance experience would be advantageous but is not essential
