FP&A Manager, Sustainability Consultancy, Central London, £75 – £85k + bonus

We are working with a global energy and sustainability consultancy based in central London but with a key presence in North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

This is a newly created role for an FP&A Manager, reporting directly to the impressive CFO. This pivotal role will suit an FP&A specialist who is eager to make a quick and substantial impact.

As FP&A Manager, you will collaborate closely with the CFO and the wider finance team to deliver comprehensive financial insights, support strategic decision-making, and enhance financial performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with CFO and existing team to deliver global budgeting and forecasting process, providing insightful commentary and ensuring comprehensive reviews and alignment with business strategy and financial objectives.
• Deliver timely and accurate monthly management reports, including balance sheet and P&L recognition, variance analysis, and commercial insights. Develop KPIs and other performance metrics to monitor business health and guide decision-making.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior management and key stakeholders.
• Support corporate finance activities, including financial due diligence for acquisitions and other strategic transactions. Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support transaction decisions, ensuring alignment with overall corporate strategy.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support commercial negotiations, transfer pricing, margin control, and strategic decision-making.
• Coordinate group reporting activities, including Board pack preparation and the consolidation of FP&A data.
• Lead ad hoc financial projects with a focus on process efficiencies, enhancing analysis, and supporting broader business initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes to support the business’s growth and strategic goals.

Essentials:

• Qualified accountant with 3+ years post qualified experience within FP&A
• Experience within a professional services or consultancy industry
• Proven process optimisation and improvements
• Must be on short notice – one month or less

Desirables:

• Oracle or Hyperion system experience
• Interest in the sustainability sector
