Founder led, the company has built a highly engaged client following and is now entering an exciting new phase of growth. Ambitious and highly commercial, this is a fast-paced business with significant momentum and aspirations to become one of the standout names in its sector.

It is now seeking a talented Financial Controller to play a key role in the ongoing growth plans.

Reporting to the founder, the role will include:

• Implement the appropriate level of controls and processes to enable timely and accurate financial reporting
• Create management information, highlighting risks and opportunities
• Deliver analysis around business performance, customer activity and stock
• Use automation to simplify accounting tasks
• Build and own the budgeting, forecasting and planning processes
• Identify and track KPIs
• Establish a fit-for-purpose framework of compliance and governance whilst being sensitive to the commercial environment
• Manage the outsourced accounting partner relationship

Required candidate profile:

• ACA qualified
• Financial reporting & FP&A experience
• Experience with an owner managed business, either within industry or from a client perspective when in practice
• Confident, robust and commercially minded
• High level of intellectual horsepower
• Comfortable getting stuck / being hands on
• Happy to be both in the detail and actively involved in strategic conversations
• Will have worked with a fast paced, consumer facing, scaling business
