Josef joined Cedar in 2022 and leads the Interim practice. He has 12 years’ experience in finance recruitment and specialises in interim CFO, CFO-1 and senior finance appointments across London, the UK and Europe.

His core market is private equity, venture capital and wider investor-backed businesses, including portfolio companies backed by private credit, family offices, growth capital and infrastructure funds. He works with investors, CFOs, CEOs and senior management teams during periods of growth, acquisition, integration, carve-out, transformation, refinancing, turnaround and exit.

Josef’s focus includes Interim CFOs, Finance Directors, Heads of FP&A, Group Financial Controllers, Corporate Finance leaders and other CFO-1 appointments. He also supports wider finance team build-outs and selected Interim CEO mandates.
