This highly entrepreneurial and rapidly scaling business has disrupted a traditionally slow adoption market, creating pace and appetite, quickly establishing itself as a market leader.

Following the subsequent launch of a complimentary business which quickly exceeded expectations, this exciting Group is accelerating its growth to capitalise on significant customer interest.

To play a key role in this ongoing success story, the business is seeking an exceptionally talented Head of Finance.

Reporting to the CEO/Founder, the role will include:

• Own the Group’s multi-entity financial control, reporting and finance operations environment.
• Deliver best-in-class management information, forecasting, unit economics, cash flow management, margin analysis and investor reporting to provide clear commercial insight and support strategic decision-making.
• Identify opportunities to utilise automation and AI to improve efficiency across finance.
• Lead and coach a small finance function, implementing the systems, processes and controls required to support a high-growth, technology-enabled business.
• Drive a “right first time” approach to financial reporting, improving accuracy, controls and reporting timelines.
• Build, manage and maintain business critical financial models.
• Monitor banking covenants, financing obligations, working capital and cash forecasting.
• Support the financial strategy, capital allocation, fundraising readiness and long-term planning to facilitate ongoing growth.

Required Candidate Profile:

• A Practice trained Chartered accountant
• Impressive academic record and impressive levels of intellectual horsepower
• A significantly high ceiling for growth
• Recognises that a scaling environment requires a hands-on / get stuck in approach to the role
• Understands what good looks like and is able to shape a finance function to deliver alongside rapid business growth
• Strong financial modelling experience
• Impressive communications skills and EQ

Previous experience of working within a PE backed scale-up, and knowledge of Sequel would be an advantage.
