Credit Controller – Mainly Remote | Up to £180 per day | 3-Month Rolling Contract

Location: Mainly remote (occasional office attendance as required)
Rate: Up to £180 per day (inside IR35)
Contract: 3-month rolling

Our client, a private equity-backed services company, is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to support their growing finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, high-volume business environment where you’ll play a key role in ensuring effective cash collection, maintaining accurate ledgers, and supporting integration across multiple entities.

The Role

Reporting to the Credit Control Manager, you will:

• Proactively manage and prioritise debt collection across multiple entities via phone and email.
• Post and allocate high volumes of incoming payments (approx. 150+ daily).
• Collaborate closely with finance, sales, and legal teams to manage credit risk and resolve disputes.
• Ensure compliance with UK credit laws, GDPR, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of all credit control activity.
• Assist with month-end and year-end financial processes.

About You

• Proven experience in a credit control role within a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong working knowledge of Sage Intacct or similar finance systems.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with a customer-focused approach.
• Highly organised and able to work independently to meet tight deadlines.
• Confident using Microsoft Office and other business systems.
