Group Financial Accountant Permanent

As Group Financial Accountant, you’ll sit within the External Reporting team, supporting consolidations, M&A integration, and both IFRS and US GAAP reporting. Working closely with an outstanding Group Head of Finance, you’ll gain exposure across transactions, controls, and high-level reporting – with plenty of variety and visibility.

What you’ll do:

• Assist with M&A accounting, onboarding new acquisitions, and IFRS 15 revenue reviews
• Prepare accounting papers for key transactions and strengthen reporting processes
• Assist in Group consolidation and external reporting, supporting both IFRS and US GAAP requirements.
• Support the production of monthly management accounts and Group Annual and Quarterly reports
• Prepare accounting papers for key transactions, including M&A, financing, structuring, and hedging.
• Support IFRS 15 reporting across local entities, ensuring accurate revenue recognition and smooth onboarding of new acquisitions.
• Drive post-acquisition reviews, analysing goodwill, capitalisation, and integration impacts.
• Partner with M&A, Treasury, Tax, and Divisional Finance teams to deliver ad hoc financial insights.

What they are looking for:

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) – ideally Big 4 / Top 10 trained
• Strong IFRS background; US GAAP experience a plus
• Commercially minded, proactive, and confident working in a high-growth, fast-moving environment
