Order to Cash Associate – 12 Month Contract

Location: Hybrid – 3 days per week on ­­site in Paddington

About the Opportunity

Our client, a leading global biotechnology organisation, is seeking a Temporary Order-to-Cash (O2C) Associate to join their International Revenue Accounting Team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting daily O2C operations across multiple international markets, working closely with external service providers and cross-functional internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting the organisation’s international business (Europe, LATAM, Middle East, and Australia), you will:

• Act as the first point of contact for customer queries, collaborating with outsourced partners to deliver timely and accurate resolutions within agreed SLAs.
• Support the set up and maintenance of customer master data, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal quality procedures.
• Conduct analytical reviews of key customer data (sales, AR, DSO, credit) to inform operational and strategic decisions.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for SOX controls and audit requirements.
• Participate in month-end close activities, including balance sheet reconciliations and proof-of-delivery reviews.
• Identify and implement process improvements, ensuring new and existing procedures remain SOX compliant.
• Monitor service levels and key performance indicators (KPIs) for outsourced partners, providing insights to management to drive continuous improvement.
• Support product expansion and new market initiatives by coordinating master data setup, validating order accuracy, and ensuring compliance with existing processes and policies.

About You

You’re a proactive, detail-oriented professional with a strong grasp of accounting principles and order-to-cash processes. You thrive in a fast-paced, multinational environment and are comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and geographies.
• Proactive and adaptable, with a solutions-focused mindset.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with Oracle ERP is advantageous.
• Prior experience in a multinational organisation preferred.

Desirable:

• Experience with SAP (S4Hana, FIORI).
• Additional European language skills.
• Background in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
