Group Reporting Manager Interim

Cedar is partnered with a global PE-backed financial services group to help them secure an Interim Group Reporting Manager. This role is based in the City of London on a hybrid basis (3 days per week in the office) and is offered as an 18-month fixed-term contract, paying £100,000 to £120,000 per annum.

The Role

As Interim Group Reporting Manager, you’ll play a key role in the delivery of high-quality, insightful financial reporting across the Group.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the production of the Group’s APMs for monthly management accounts, quarterly financial statements, and the annual report
• Driving continuous improvement in reporting processes and systems to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and insight
• Partnering with Divisional Finance teams on acquisitions, supporting onboarding and preparation of Adjusted EBITDA for lenders
• Developing and communicating policies, guidance, and frameworks to ensure consistent Group reporting practices
• Coordinating submissions from Divisional and Local Finance teams, supporting year-end audit activity, and resolving auditor queries
• Contributing to M&A-related reporting, analysis, and materials for equity and debt market engagement
• Supporting the ongoing rollout of a group-wide financial reporting framework

Your Profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with minimum 4 years’ PQE
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP, and relevant UK law
• Experience in management reporting, ideally within financial services
• Background in large, multi-currency group reporting
• Proficiency in reporting systems such as OneStream or HFM
• Experience managing and coaching a small team
• Availability to begin immediately, or at short notice
