Procurement Consultant – IT & Digital Permanent

Cedar are supporting a Management Consultancy who are looking to hire a number of IT & Digital Procurement Consultant’s for their engagements with clients in the UK Public Sector marketplace. These roles are permanent positions offering a salary range of £50,000 up to £70,000 per annum (depending on experience) the roles also include a range of benefits i.e. Bonus. These roles will be predominantly home based but will require travel to client and internal meetings when required (i.e. 1-2 days per month).

The successful candidate/s will be assigned to support the delivery of key projects, covering IT and Digital requirements, engaged with key clients in the UK Public Sector marketplace. The roles will require you to support end customers with achieving compliance and value for money on end to end Procurement activities supported.

Candidates applying for this role MUST HAVE active SC Clearance in place or be willing to undergo SC Clearance if successful.

Please note gaining SC Clearance will require you to have been a resident in the UK for a minimum of 5 years.

Candidates applying MUST HAVE:

• Experience working in a Procurement, Category, Contract or Commercial Management role is required
• Experience working in the UK Public Sector and/or in Defence, Security is required
• Strong background and understanding in the IT and Digital category is required
• Experience working in Management Consultancy would be advantageous
• Strong understanding of Public Sector Procurement processes/regulations as well as using Frameworks is required
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills (both written and verbal) is required
