CFO Permanent

I’m recruiting a CFO for a privately backed healthtech firm who possess key proprietary technology and a Blue-Chip, international client base. They have an impressively diversified range of revenue streams alongside a coherent and realistic strategic plan to scale them all, whilst also seeking to bolt on acquisitions where feasible. The firm boasts an impressive, industry-leading management team and this is a truly unique opportunity to join them in a role that will provide significant share options.

The CFO will be a will be a key member of the executive leadership team and will be responsible for leading a team that oversees all financial aspects of the firm. This includes strategic financial planning, risk management, investor relations and ensuring the company’s financial health aligns with its mission and growth objectives. Specific duties include:

• Develop and implement financial strategies that support the company’s objectives and drive sustainable growth.
• Oversee all financial & management accounting along with budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning processes.
• Evaluate and execute strategic partnerships, joint ventures and mergers & acquisitions to drive growth.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for investors; support fundraising initiatives; develop and execute a comprehensive exit strategy.
• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and collaboration within the finance team and across all business units.
• Act as a trusted advisor to the Board and provide financial & commercial support to all key decisions.

Successful candidates for the position of CFO will:

• Be a fully qualified accountant (ACA preferred) with significant PQE and proven experience as a CFO.
• Need to demonstrate proof of having led a business through an ‘Exit’ event.
• Offer strong, rounded finance experience that has been gained in a hands-on SME environment.
• Have exposure to an international environment and the ability to drive growth in different markets.
• Possess experience in M&A transactions and / or liquidity events (e.g. refinancing, share buybacks etc).

Salary: £200 – £250k + 20% cash bonus + significant share options.
