In-house Tax Manager / AM, 1 day in office Permanent

An excellent opportunity has arisen in a global, highly acquisitive organisation for an Assistant Tax Manager to join an established tax team. Reporting to a Group Tax Manager, you will have ownership over compliance and reporting with scope to get involved with international tax projects and indirect tax. The environment is very flexible with office presence only required onc or twice a week (or more if you prefer).

Responsibilities include:

• Preparation of the UK tax returns including CIR, group relief and R&D claims
• Preparing UK year-end tax packs to provide accurate and timely submissions for year-end reporting, including identification of GAAP differences.
• Writing UK tax notes for statutory accounts.
• Answering tax queries and providing advice to commercial colleagues in the UK business
• Supporting with UK Tax audits (direct and indirect tax)

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with solid UK tax compliance experience. The role would suit someone moving straight from the profession or someone in a similar role, looking for greater flexibility as office presence is only required once or twice a week.
