Based in Central London, the role offers a day rate between £800-1000, with a focus on establishing finance processes in preparation for a future sale.

The Role
As Interim Finance Director, you will:

• Build and enhance robust finance processes to support the company’s growth trajectory and exit strategy.
• Lead the preparation for due diligence and the financial aspects of a future sale or acquisition.
• Oversee statutory reporting, tax filings, and external auditor relationships.
• Implement scalable controls and financial procedures to align with a rapidly expanding business.
• Manage cashflow forecasting and reporting, ensuring liquidity and financial health.
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, supporting the executive team with strategic financial insights.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and maintain the integrity of financial reports.
• Oversee monthly close processes and internal management reporting.
• Work on ad hoc financial projects tied to the company’s growth and long-term goals.

Your Profile
You will ideally have:

• A formal accountancy qualification (e.g., ACA, CIMA, CA).
• Proven experience as a Finance Director or senior finance leader, ideally within a high-growth tech or AI-driven business.
• A strong background in preparing businesses for sale or M&A processes.
• Exceptional skills in building and optimising financial controls in a fast-paced, disruptive environment.
• The ability to manage relationships with senior stakeholders, including investors and external advisors.
• Strong leadership skills and the capacity to drive finance strategy in line with business goals.
