Senior Finance Manager Interim

Cedar is currently partnered with a leading Sports & Entertainment Media business to secure an Interim Senior Finance Manager, based in West London. The role is a 3 to 6-month initial contract, paying a day rate between £475-600 per day.

The Role

As Interim Senior Finance Manager, you will:

• Prepare monthly management accounts in line with US GAAP
• Ensure smooth running of financial operations, including an efficient and accurate link between the business unit and SSC transactional finance functions
• Prepare variance analysis and commentary for corporate submissions and client reporting
• Partner with departmental heads to understand budgets, track and monitor risk and opportunity across various projects
• Prepare and submit timely budgets and forecasts on a quarterly and annual basis
• Oversee a small team of qualified and part-qualified staff

Your Profile

You will ideally have:

• A formal accountancy qualification (e.g. ACA/CIMA/CA)·
• Previous experience working within Media or Telco sectors
• The ability to interpret and manipulate large sets of data
• Prior exposure to SAP, US GAAP and SOX compliance are desirable for this role
• Prior experience in an interim / contract role would be beneficial but not necessary.
• The rate of £400-600 per day represents a fair value, or logical increase on your previous salary or day rate.
