Corporate Finance Analyst, PE Backed Technology, London, £70k + Bonus

I am working with a Market Leading, Private Equity backed technology business who are looking for a dynamic Corporate Finance Analyst to join their growing finance function.

Private Equity backed by a FTSE 100, instantly recognisable, PE Powerhouse, they have turned their focus to investing in upskilling the business and driving optimisation and financial insight to accelerate their vision. This business has seen sustained organic growth alongside several recent deals which have accelerated their brand even further.

Reporting directly to the talented Head of Corporate Finance this is a high-profile role with exceptional visibility. You will carry out key analytical and financial modelling work as part of the corporate finance team, contributing to key strategic projects including capital raises and refinancing, corporate development opportunities (acquisitions, mergers, divestments), strategic business development opportunities. You will need to be a brilliant communicator, able to influence at all levels both internally and externally alongside having exceptional modelling skills.

Responsibilities:

• Carrying out analytical work on the long range financial model that is used to produce the Long Range Business Plan
• Maintaining the financial models by updating the latest scenarios, suggesting improvements to structure etc
• Conduct financial analyses to evaluate strategic opportunities for the company.
• Create high-quality documentation for the company’s financial model outputs, including output sheets, charts, commentary, and documentation of assumptions, scenarios, and sensitivities.
• Support the financial aspects of key strategic projects, such as commercial development and M&A
• Collaborate closely with the Head of Corporate Finance and the Strategic Finance Manager on all internal and external ad-hoc requests.
• Work with the Corporate Finance team to maintain and enhance high-quality and efficient financial model infrastructure, processes, and documentation, ensuring analytical accuracy, clarity, audit trails, and operational efficiency in all aspects of long-term financial planning.

Essential Requirements:

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA Qualified with 1+ years PQE and relevant commercial finance experience
• Excellent excel modelling skills
• Evidential experience implementing change, driving optimisation and streamlining processes
• Ideally from banking / financial services background
