Head of Treasury – Private Equity Backed Group
£150,000-£160,000 per annum | Reporting to the CFO

Cedar is recruiting a Head of Treasury for a mid-market, private equity backed group operating across the broader facilities services sector.

With an established platform and a buy-and-build strategy already well underway, the business is seeking a commercially minded treasury leader to strengthen its capabilities and support the next phase of growth.

Reporting directly to the CFO, you will take ownership of group treasury, combining strategic input with hands-on oversight of liquidity, funding and financial risk. You will work closely with senior management, investors and lenders to ensure the group has the cash visibility, financing capacity and controls to support continued acquisition activity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead group cash management, liquidity planning and cash-flow forecasting.
• Manage debt facilities, covenant compliance and lender relationships.
• Support acquisitions through funding planning and treasury integration.
• Strengthen treasury policies, controls, reporting and banking arrangements across the group.
• Partner with operational finance teams to improve cash visibility and working capital performance.
• Advise the CFO on financing options and financial risk.

About you

You will bring senior treasury experience within a private equity backed or acquisitive business, with a strong understanding of leveraged debt, liquidity management and lender requirements.

Comfortable moving between strategic decisions and operational detail, you will have the credibility to influence senior stakeholders and the practical approach needed to develop treasury within a growing group. Experience in facilities services, business services or another decentralised organisation would be advantageous.
