Interim Procurement Contract Manager Interim NEW

Cedar Recruitment are supporting a Public Sector client, based in Kent, who are looking to hire 2 x Interim Procurement Contract Managers. This role will run until 31st March 2027 (potential to extend) and is offering a Day Rate ranged from £400 up to £500 per day (INSIDE IR35). This role will be predominantly on-site, expectations for 4 days per week with the remainder Home Based.

The successful candidate will be assigned to support c10 high value contracts with a focus on driving value for money and savings. Our client is currently focused on delivering savings, Contract Management previously has not been managed by Procurement so the focus of this role will be to support live contracts and manage them more effectively with the view to achieve savings as a result. Contracts managed will be a mixture of requirements under PCR2015 and PA23 regulations so candidates need to be aware of Public Sector Procurement Regulations and be confident managing key stakeholders and suppliers assigned.

Candidates applying MUST HAVE:

• experience working in a Contract Management or supporting Contract Management activities within the Public Sector
• track record delivering savings and achieving value for money
• understanding of PCR2015 and PA23
• strong stakeholder management, supplier management and communication skills
