Business Analyst – Social Care

3 Month Contract | Hybrid Working, East Midlands | £400-£450 Per Day Inside IR35

Cedar Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Business Analyst for a Public Sector organisation in the Midlands to support the implementation of a new operating model across Children’s services.

This is a business change and service improvement role that will involve working closely with service teams and stakeholders to design processes, identify gaps and improve ways of working.

Key Responsibilities

• Map and document current and future processes, including referral pathways and business support functions.
• Facilitate workshops and engage with key stakeholders to understand requirements and current ways of working.
• Identify process gaps, duplication and inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
• Support process redesign and implementation of the new operating model.
• Produce clear process maps and operational documentation.

Essential Experience

• Strong Business Analysis and process mapping experience.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills.
• Experience in working within a local government setting.
• Knowledge of Lean, Agile, Service Design or similar methodologies.

• Children’s Services, Social Care or SEND experience.
• Possess strong operational/process improvement experience.
