Procurement Lead Permanent NEW

Cedar are supporting a Public Sector organisation, operating in the Not-for-Profit marketplace, who are looking for a Procurement Lead on an 1.5 year Fixed Term Contract (FTC) position. This is a remote position offering a salary ranged from c£60,000 up to £65,000 per annum plus Benefits. Please note that this role has the potential to become permanent at the end of the FTC duration and there may be some on-site requirements for key business meetings i.e. 1 day per month – meetings will likely be at offices in London.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and developing a robust Procurement and Commercial strategy for the organisation with a key focus on ensuring Value for Money (VfM) and compliance with Procurement Act 2023 (PA23). The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key stakeholder relationships internally as well as leading end to end Procurement activity through to Award and managing Suppliers.

Candidates applying MUST HAVE:

• experience working a similar role in the UK Public Sector marketplace – experience working in the Not-for-Profit sector would be advantageous
• experience managing high value and complex procurements end to end
• hands on experience creating policies and processes to ensure compliance and VfM
• understanding of PCR2015 and PA23 – completion of PA23 training is required
• ideally MCIPS qualified or working towards MCIPS qualification
