Interim FP&A Manager Interim NEW

Cedar is partnered with a fast-growth, VC-backed consumer brand in Central London to appoint an Interim FP&A Manager. This is a 6-month contract offering a day rate of £350-450 per day.

This is a high-growth, digitally-led consumer business with a strong investor base and a data-rich operating model.

The business is continuing to invest in its systems, reporting and analytical capability, and is looking to strengthen the FP&A function during a period of continued change and development.

The Role

The Interim FP&A Manager will take ownership of core FP&A activity, with a particular focus on analysis, modelling, systems and data.

Key responsibilities include:

• Owning core FP&A reporting and monthly performance analysis.
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and periodic reforecasting.
• Maintaining and improving P&L, balance sheet and cash flow models.
• Manipulating and analysing large, complex financial and operational datasets.
• Validating underlying data and investigating inconsistencies.
• Supporting finance systems implementation and reporting improvements.
• Improving automation, reporting workflows and model scalability.
• Producing variance, scenario and sensitivity analysis.
• Strengthening forecast accuracy and management information.
• Supporting Board and investor reporting.
• Providing ad hoc modelling and analytical support across FP&A.

Your Profile

• Strong hands-on FP&A and financial modelling experience.
• Advanced Excel.
• Comfortable manipulating and validating large, complex datasets.
• Experience improving FP&A reporting, systems or processes.
• Exposure to systems implementation, BI tools or reporting transformation would be advantageous.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Compensation & Working Arrangements

The day rate for this Interim FP&A Manager role is £350-450 per day.

The role is based in Central London, with hybrid working requiring 3 days per week in the office.

This is a strong opportunity for a hands-on FP&A specialist who enjoys getting into the detail of models, systems and data while helping build a cleaner, more scalable reporting environment.
