Cedar are supporting a Public Sector client who are looking to hire an Interim Commercial Manager. This is a 6-month engagement (potential to extend) and offers a day rate up to £600 per day (INSIDE IR35). The role will operate on a hybrid basis with the expectation to go on–site c3 days per week in offices in either London or York (you can work from whichever office is closest to you).
The successful candidate will work with Key Stakeholders to manage a range of procurement activities and contracts to ensure compliance, delivery and value for money.
Candidates applying MUST HAVE:
- completed the Procurement Act 2023 (PA23) training
- strong stakeholder management skills
- strong background evaluating procurements in a commercial environment
- understanding of funding arrangements, costs and profiling
- experience in the Rail/Transport sector would be advantageous
