Interim Commercial Manager – IT Interim NEW

Cedar are supporting a Central Government client who are looking to hire an Interim Commercial Manager for their requirements covering IT Services. This is a 6-month engagement (potential to extend) and offers a day rate up to £550 per day (INSIDE IR35). The role will operate on a hybrid basis with the expectation to go on-site c3 days per week in offices in either London, Manchester or Liverpool (you can work from whichever office is closest to you). Please note this role will require SC Clearance so candidates applying MUST HAVE active SC Clearance or be willing to undergo SC Clearance if successful.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the re-procurement of key IT Services in line with the Procurement Act 2023 and in the main utilising Government Frameworks to deliver compliance and value for money.

Candidates applying MUST HAVE:

• completed the Procurement Act 2023 (PA23) training
• experience running end to end Procurements for IT Services
• experience using Frameworks with the likes of CCS
• strong stakeholder management skills
