Cedar is partnering with a global leader in the media & entertainment industry to hire a proactive Finance Analyst into their busy, high-performing Global Service Centre team.

This is a brand-new position, offering the opportunity to join a large, internationally recognised organisation at an exciting stage of growth.

This role is ideal for someone in the early stages of their finance career who is looking to build strong technical foundations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You’ll gain hands-on experience working with global financial data, systems, and revenue processes, supporting the smooth flow of information across multiple international markets.

The position is process-driven and execution-focused, with a clear emphasis on accuracy, data handling, and consistency. It is best suited to someone who enjoys working with detail, following structured processes, and developing their expertise within a large-scale finance function, rather than taking full ownership from day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing high volumes of revenue data across multiple international markets
• Preparing and reviewing system-generated accounting entries
• Investigating and resolving data discrepancies
• Maintaining and updating system mappings and data tables
• Supporting balance sheet reconciliations
• Responding to queries from global internal finance teams
• Documenting processes and supporting continuous improvement

About You

• Proven experience in a finance role (practice or industry)
• Part-qualified or newly qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
• Strong Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables, lookups)
• Comfortable working with large datasets and financial systems
• High attention to detail and a methodical approach
• Clear communication skills with the ability to explain financial data
• Experience in a controlled environment (e.g. SOX) is advantageous
