Interim Workstream & Benchmarking Lead Interim NEW

Cedar is supporting a Public Sector client, based in Central London, who are looking to hire an Interim Workstream & Benchmarking Lead. This contract will run for 12 months and offers a day rate up to £725 (INSIDE IR35). This role will operate on a hybrid working basis with the expectation to be on-site in the office 3-days per week. Candidates applying must be available immediately or on a short notice, the client is aiming for someone to commence the role mid-November 2025.

The successful candidate will lead the development and delivery of solutions and guidance across technical, commercial, and business change domains and will collaborate with key stakeholders to define remits and end-use needs along with identifying delivery routes, work procurement teams, and oversee delivery to time and budget. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing approvals, stakeholder engagement, and communications as well as establishing review cycles for continuous improvement of guidance.

Candidates applying MUST HAVE:

• experience working in a similar role in the UK Public Sector and/or Transport marketplace is required – ideally experience in roles covering e.g. Development Management
• strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• understanding of European Train Control System (ETCS) and UK Deployment plans would be advantageous
• experience with planning, scheduling and risk management is required
