Procurement Manager – IT Permanent

Cedar are supporting a key client based in London, who operate in the Rail sector, who are looking to hire a Procurement Manager for their IT category. This role is a permanent job opportunity offering a salary range from £50,000 up to £55,000 per annum plus a variety of great benefits (free/discounted travel). This role will be hybrid with the expectation to be on-site 3 days per week in Central London.

Reporting into the Head of Procurement the Procurement Manager will be responsible for managing a number of end to end Procurements, in line with Public Sector Procurement Regulations, to deliver compliant solutions and value for money with a focus on ICT & Digital. You will also be required to build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders for the procurements you are tasked with delivering.

Candidates applying MUST HAVE:

• Recent experience working in a similar role in the UK Public Sector marketplace i.e. experience working in Procurement and/or Category Management is required
• Experience running end to end Procurements and a track record of delivering value for money and compliant solutions in the Public Sector for requirements in ICT & Digital
• Understanding of the new Procurement Act would be advantageous
• Experience in the Rail sector would be advantageous but is not required
