Financial Controller – US listed Commodities – City of London

c.£90k + 20% bonus + 6% pension + excellent corporate benefits package

A broad commercial FC role reporting into a divisional Finance Director of a US listed Financial Services business with high-double digit growth.

Following the promotion of the current Financial Controller to Finance Director, the new FD is looking to hire his replacement who can be his number 2 and take a leading role by owning the Management Reporting of the division.

This is a broad FC role covering all aspects of Finance, with full overview of the BS, P&L and Cash flow – as well as overseeing the Transactional Finance team.

The role will partner the front-office up to MD/CO level on operational processes, driving improvements and automation across Finance, and work closely with Risk, Tax and Finance Operations, including cash-flow forecasting, and planning funding requirements with Group Treasury.

Experience needed to be successful in this role:

• Strong accounting knowledge – General Ledger, BS and IFRS
• Strong Management Reporting with experience of the P&L
• Experience in either Physical Commodities/ Trading/ or Financial Services
