Capital Accountant – Property Sector

Location: London (Hybrid)
Permanent: £65,000 – £70,000 per annum

We are currently looking for a Capital Accountant to join a leading property company in London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant to take ownership of fixed asset accounting and play a key role in shaping financial strategy across a growing portfolio.

Day to day duties:

• Lead on all aspects of fixed asset accounting
• Work closely with Asset, Sustainability and Sales teams to provide clear financial insight and reporting.
• Support the Head of Capital with CAPEX and sales programmes.
• Maintain and manage the Fixed Asset Register, ensuring compliance and reporting requirements.
• Responsible for managing and developing an Assistant Accountant

Essential requirements:

• CCAB qualified accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Strong experience in capital accounting, fixed assets, CAPEX, inventory, and investment reporting
• In depth knowledge of FRS principles and rules
• Excellent Excel skills and Power BI knowledge is desirable
• Confident communicator and trusted advisor to stakeholders
