Global VAT Manager – International Advisory focus Permanent

An exciting and newly created role for an International VAT Manager has arisen working for a fast paced, prestigious Group. Reporting to the Group Director of Tax, the role will be largely international advisory and project work, the emphasis being on business partnering. You will also have oversight for compliance which require you to review the more complex returns. This is an exciting, international indirect tax role with a fast paced group.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Identifying potential tax opportunities for discussion with tax team and implementing as appropriate
• Providing commercial advice on business activity and projects
• Supporting the team with VAT audits from tax authorities
• Overseeing VAT compliance and reporting, ensuring that it is completed in an accurate and timely manner
• Supporting with import VAT and Duties on global imports

They are looking for someone with experience in providing indirect tax advice for large multinational Groups. The opportunity would suit someone coming straight from the profession or someone looking to progress their career in-house.
