About the Role

As a Senior SAP PI/PO Integration Consultant, you’ll play a critical role in shaping seamless integrations within complex landscapes. Your expertise will drive efficiency, enhance connectivity, and ensure data integrity. If you’re a seasoned professional with a passion for innovation, read on!

Key Responsibilities

• Integration Strategy: Lead the design and development of SAP integrations using PI/PO. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into robust solutions.
• Technical Excellence: Dive deep into SOAP and REST APIs, ABAP proxies, and RFCs. Fine-tune interfaces, optimise performance, and troubleshoot integration issues.
• S/4HANA Integration: Manage seamless connectivity for S/4HANA systems, ensuring smooth data flow and real-time insights.
• Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documents, including unit test reports and solution blueprints.
• Team Leadership: Mentor junior team members, escalate risks promptly, and foster a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Technical Proficiency: You’re well-versed in SAP PI/PO 7.3, SAP ABAP R/3, and other adapters (File, JDBC, IDOC). Experience with user-defined Java functions is a plus.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Tackling complex integration challenges excites you. You’re proactive, resourceful, and adept at finding innovative solutions.
• Communication: Your written and verbal communication skills are top-notch. You can explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Leadership: You’ve led teams, managed projects, and understand the delicate balance between technical excellence and business outcomes.

Desired Skills

• ABAP Proxy Development: If you’ve worked with ABAP proxies, you’ll feel right at home.
• SAP TRM, PSCD, CRM, FI, and HR Models: Familiarity with these modules is advantageous.
