The commercial opportunity in AI is significant. The harder question is where AI can genuinely improve revenue, margins, productivity or enterprise value.

Cedar Technology is supporting a private equity-related AI commercial leadership appointment, focused on translating emerging AI capabilities into tangible business outcomes.

This is a role for someone who understands that a technically impressive AI solution is not necessarily a commercially valuable one.

The successful individual will combine strategic judgement, commercial understanding and sufficient technical literacy to evaluate where AI can create a defensible advantage.

The challenge

• Identify and evaluate AI opportunities with meaningful commercial potential.

• Translate emerging AI capabilities into practical business use cases.

• Build credible commercial cases around costs, implementation complexity, return on investment and scalability.

• Engage senior executives and technical stakeholders to develop and progress initiatives.

• Distinguish commercially valuable solutions from experimentation without a clear business case.

• Help connect technology capability with broader business and investment objectives.

Who should consider this?

We’re interested in commercially minded AI leaders, technology strategists and individuals with experience in AI commercialisation, value creation or technology-led transformation.

You should be able to discuss the capabilities and limitations of modern AI systems, while demonstrating how technology initiatives translate into financial outcomes.

Experience in private equity, consulting, enterprise technology or AI-enabled businesses may be particularly relevant.
