Interim Finance Business Partner – Local Authority
Cedar is currently supporting a local authority in the Midlands who are urgently seeking an Interim Finance Business Partner to join their team. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing financial advice and strategic support across various departments.
Key Details:
Day Rate: £500-£550 Inside IR35
Location: Midlands
Place of Work: Hybrid working arrangement, with office attendance once a fortnight
Contract Length: Minimum of 6 months
Main Duties:
- Monitor and forecast budgets to ensure financial stability
- Set budgets in line with strategic objectives
- Advise on new processes and policies to enhance efficiency
- Provide finance comments for reports and officer decisions
- Offer day-to-day support and guidance to the business
Essential Experience:
- CCAB Qualified
- Proven experience of working as a Financial Business Partner in a local authority
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
