Key Responsibilities:

• Liaise with HMRC to ensure clients meet VAT obligations, avoiding costs and penalties.
• Provide clear, practical, and well-researched VAT advice.
• Resolve VAT disputes with HMRC, suppliers, and customers.
• Manage a diverse client portfolio, identifying new opportunities and generating projects.

Additional Duties:

• Support tender proposals, marketing initiatives, and due diligence.
• Provide VAT input for restructuring projects and train staff on VAT matters.
• Investigate VAT queries and review registration applications and returns.

Requirements:

• Experience in VAT advisory/compliance work.
• Strong understanding of VAT principles and technical skills.
• Ability to explain complex issues in simple terms.
• Proven track record in managing clients and winning new VAT work.
