Finance Officer Interim

A modern, leading housing association in London are seeking a Finance Manager to hit the ground running and support them during an exciting, pivotal business change. As a key member of the team, you will assist the Senior Accountants and cover accounts payable duties. This is an initial 9 month contract with the potential to become permanent.

Salary: £33,000 – £35,000 per annum pro rata’d

Location: London

Working Pattern: Hybrid 1-2 days in the office per week

Responsibilities:

• Provide day to day finance support to senior members of the finance team
• Oversee the general ledger, treasury, cashflow forecasting, bank reconciliations, journals and the cashbook.
• Responsibility for all transaction processes suggesting and implementing improvements.
• Act as the first point of contact for the business in relation to finance queries and encourage engagement.

Requirements:

• AAT Qualified or Part-Qualified CCAB
• Strong technical accounting ability.
• Excellent communicator, confident in dealing with senior members of staff
• Good understanding of all transactional processes.
• Previous experience working in a Housing Association is advantageous but not essential.
