Interim Category Manager – ICT & Digital Interim NEW

Cedar are supporting a Local Authority who are on the look for an Interim Category Manager – IT & Digital. This role will be home based and will run for an initial 3 months (potential to extend). This role is INSIDE IR35 with a day rate of £400 up to £500 on offer. This is an urgent requirement and the client is looking for someone who can join in May 2025.

The successful candidate will support a range of end to end compliant procurements relating to ICT and Digital covering areas such as Software, Hardware, Infrastructure and Professional Services. You will be required to use/call-off Public Sector Frameworks such as G-Cloud and DOS to deliver value for money and innovative solutions.

Candidates applying MUST HAVE:

• Strong experience working in the UK Public Sector in a Procurement, Category or Commercial Management position is required
• Strong knowledge and hands on experience running end to end ICT and/or Digital Procurements via Frameworks such as G-Cloud or DOS is required
• Understanding of the new Public Procurement Act
