In-House International Tax Manager, Pure Advisory Role Permanent

A unique proposition, working in the EMEA headquarters of a well-known, market leading Group, this is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with the Head of Tax for EMEA. You will have 2 direct reports with the focus of your role being international tax advisory and project-based work with ownership of tax compliance and reporting for the region. This is a career enhancing opportunity where you’ll be exposed to a range of issues in a truly global group. Key responsibilities include:

• Providing advice and assisting on international tax matters and implementing tax advice
• Ensuring tax accounting, forecasting and reporting deadlines are met accurately
• Management of relationship with HMRC and their queries
• Line management, training and mentoring of 2 direct reports

As the successful candidate you will have a strong background in UK and international tax. The role will be largely advisory based, so you must have experience in dealing with international tax issues / projects faced by the large corporates. The client is open to someone coming straight from the profession who is keen to learn and grow within in an-house environment, or someone looking to stretch their experience coming from another in-house role.
