Corporate Tax Manager Permanent

Cedar is supporting a highly acquisitive group with the hire of a newly created Corporate Tax Manager position. This is an excellent opportunity to move into a strategically important role within the finance function, offering a mix of compliance, reporting, and advisory work across a complex the business.

Working closely with the Head of Tax, you’ll take ownership of corporation tax compliance and reporting, while also supporting wider strategic initiatives, including corporate transactions and refinancing projects. This role offers genuine breadth, professional development, and the chance to make a tangible impact within a dynamic and expanding organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end corporation tax compliance across the group, supported by external advisers.
• Prepare year-end tax provisions and support statutory accounts and audit processes.
• Develop tax forecasts and advise on the tax implications of new projects and transactions.
• Oversee Capital Allowance and transfer pricing reviews.
• Contribute to tax risk management, governance frameworks, and HMRC interactions.
• Support ongoing improvements to tax processes, controls, and compliance standards.

About You

• CTA (or equivalent) qualified.
• Strong UK corporation tax background.
• Proven experience managing compliance and advisory workstreams.
• Excellent technical and communication skills, with the ability to partner across the business.
• Commercially minded, detail-oriented, and proactive in managing risk and identifying opportunities.
