Group Tax Manager, 2 days in office Permanent NEW

An exciting new role has come to the market working for a fast-paced fintech with an impressive growth record and ambitious plans for further expansion and international presence. The role will report into finance and lead across all taxes for the UK and overseas businesses and have one direct report.

Key responsibilities include:

• Management of outsourced corporate tax compliance for UK and international businesses and assist in preparing tax reporting under IFRS and UK GAAP
• Provide guidance on tax strategies, tax structuring, tax due diligence on potential M&A or business activities
• Manage tax audits and be the primary contact for correspondence with authorities as well as management of RDEC and TP policies and documentation
• Review of quarterly VAT returns and provide adhoc advice on any indirect tax or employment tax related queries

This is a broad role that will allow you to use a compliance and reporting background to push your boundaries and take ownership across all taxes. You will have a strong core in corporate tax accounting and compliance and ideally exposure to other taxes.
