Intro
Cedar is currently partnered with an impressive PE-backed Technology business, to secure an Interim Finance Manager. This role is offered on a 3-6 month contract, based in Central London, with a hybrid working model and an expected day rate of £450 – £525 (Inside IR35).

The Role
As Interim Finance Manager, you will:

• Lead and develop the AP & AR teams, providing guidance, structure, and performance oversight.
• Own and manage the Banking and Treasury functions, including daily/weekly cashflow forecasting, working capital optimisation, and maintaining banking relationships.
• Oversee month-end and year-end accounting, ensuring timely P&L and balance sheet reconciliations, general ledger accuracy, and intercompany settlements.
• Support the external audit process with reconciliations, financial analysis, and preparation of supporting documentation.
• Review and streamline current financial processes and systems, driving automation across AP, AR, and cash functions.
• Deliver KPI dashboards and reporting to support strategic decision-making and financial oversight.

Your Profile
You will ideally have:

• A formal accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
• Proven experience in a similar finance role within a fast-paced, high-growth business, with a minimum of 2 years of post-qualified experience in industry.
• Strong working knowledge of working capital, treasury management, and transactional finance leadership.
• Hands-on experience driving process improvements and implementing automation.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
• Previous experience in contracting roles is preferred but not essential.
• The day rate offered represents a fair value or logical increase on your current salary or day rate.
• Availability to begin immediately or at short notice.

Compensation & Benefits
