Cedar has exclusively partnered with a high-growth B2B SaaS business to recruit a Strategic Finance Manager.

This is a brand-new role, created to strengthen the company’s Strategic Finance capability. You’ll have the opportunity to shape the role from day one, partnering closely with senior leadership to influence key commercial and strategic decisions across the business.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives on solving complex business problems through data, enjoys building robust financial models and can translate analysis into clear, commercially focused recommendations.

The role

• Build robust financial models to support strategic and commercial decision-making.
• Analyse, cleanse and interpret complex datasets to identify trends and actionable insights.
• Lead pricing and packaging analysis, assessing the commercial impact of different pricing strategies.
• Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking and market sizing analysis.
• Deliver commercial insights across subscription performance, customer behaviour and revenue trends.
• Present clear, data-driven recommendations to senior stakeholders and board-level audiences.

About you

• Experience within a B2B SaaS or subscription-based business is essential.
• You’ll ideally have started your career in a Big 4 firm (Deloitte, EY, KPMG or PwC) or a leading strategy consultancy, before moving into an in-house Strategic Finance, Commercial Finance or Business Strategy role.
• Strong financial modelling and advanced Excel skills.
• Comfortable working with large, complex or messy datasets, with the ability to cleanse, analyse and interpret data accurately.
• Experience in commercial analysis, pricing strategy, market research and competitive benchmarking.
• Able to identify trends, tell the story behind the numbers and confidently present recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• SQL skills would be advantageous.
