Cedar is supporting a major infrastructure and services business in West London with the search for an FP&A Analyst, a role that’s become available due to internal promotion, reflecting the organisation’s focus on growth and employee development.

Reporting into a forward-thinking and supportive FP&A Manager, this role sits at the heart of commercial finance. You’ll shape strategy and support business performance in a high-impact, fast-paced environment. Whether you’re currently in an FP&A role or in Group Finance with strong Excel modelling skills, this is a fantastic step into a commercially focused position with real visibility and influence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and continually develop the Excel-based Budgeting and Forecasting model
• Analyse and report on monthly management accounts and KPIs, providing meaningful variance commentary
• Act as a finance partner to senior leadership and board-level stakeholders
• Lead and support process improvement initiatives, including ‘as-is/to-be’ mapping exercises
• Champion financial discipline across the business, driving a culture of cost control
• Contribute to key finance projects and planning cycles

Candidate Profile:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
• 4-5 years’ experience within a finance function
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and business partnering
• Confident communicator, able to influence at senior levels
• Strong planning and organisation skills; thrives under pressure
• Detail-driven, proactive, and collaborative

Desirable Experience:

• Business partnering with senior stakeholders or board-level reporting
• Familiarity with SAP, Snowflake, or similar financial reporting tools
• Exposure to BI platforms and structured reporting systems
• Any experience mentoring junior team members or leading projects
