Finance Manager Permanent NEW

Cedar is supporting a PE backed technology company which has experienced significant growth in the last year. With a turnover exceeding £100 million the company is undergoing rapid expansion, both organically and through strategic acquisitions and is now seeking a Group Finance Manager to lead the Transactional Team and support the Finance Director.

This role is central to managing working capital efficiently across the group and drive process automation, lead and mentor a high-performing finance team, whilst developing your career in a supportive a growing organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement in financial controls and process automation.
• Deliver KPI and dashboard reporting to senior finance leadership and stakeholders.

• Lead, coach, and develop the AP and AR teams to own their functions with clarity and accountability.
• Develop and maintain KPIs for cash collections, payables, and team performance.

• Perform general ledger posting and reconciliation (P&L and Balance Sheet), including month-end and year-end close.
• Manage aged debtor and creditor reporting and ensure accurate provisions and credit risk management.
• Support external audit processes and deliver accurate financial information.

• Serve as the main point of contact for banking partners.
• Prepare rolling cash flow forecasts and optimise group liquidity.
• Monitor and manage working capital on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

Requirements

• Fully qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
• Proven experience leading AP/AR functions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of cash flow management, treasury operations, and working capital optimisation.
• Skilled in process improvement and systems automation.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).
