Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 (dependent on relevant experience)

Cedar have partnered with an innovative and fast-growing project and events business who are looking to hire an ambitious PQ Management Accountant with Business Partnering experience to join their thriving team.

This newly created role offers a unique opportunity for a driven PQ Management Accountant to make a significant impact. The successful candidate will assist in the collation and preparation of financial and management reports, supporting the Group Finance Manager with ad-hoc analysis and processes. Additionally, you will engage with Project Accountants and other key contributors to consolidate and prepare insightful reports and analyses for both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the collation and preparation of financial and management reports.
• Support the Group Finance Manager with ad-hoc analysis and processes.
• Engage with Project Accountants and other key contributors to consolidate and prepare reports for financial and non-financial stakeholders.
• Prepare management and financial reporting packs, such as the Monthly Management Accounts.
• Collect, collate, and maintain forecasting information in our Financial forecasting system, Adaptive Insights, capturing key assumptions.
• Monitor risks and opportunities across the project portfolio and the wider business.
• Take ownership of timesheet data, analysis, and reporting.
• Support senior finance with ad-hoc analysis and reporting.
• Provide key decision-makers with management information.

Requirements:

• Experience working within Management Accounting or a Finance Business Partner role.
• Knowledge of NetSuite is preferable but not essential.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Part qualified (CIMA/ACCA) – must have started exams outside of exemptions.
• Highly organised and thorough.
• Strong communicator with the ability to maintain strong relationships and challenge users providing and using financial information.
